          Dhandhuka Mission 2023

On the 12th of May 2023, we remembered with affection our dear Sr.Maria Luisa on her  20th death anniversary. Fr.Cosmas Isac, SJ,  offered Holy Eucharist for her soul and after the Holy Mass we all went to her tomb in the compound and had special prayers.

The great missionary who left her footprints in the Mission of Dhadhuka. All the people of  this area remember her with fondness. We pray through her intercession for all the needs of this Mission of Dhandhuka.

Many young girls specially the dropouts from the schools, are coming to learn the tailoring in our center at Dhandhuka. After the corona effect again people are moving freely for their lively hood. The 3 months’ course offered for them is taught by our trained teacher Mrs.Ranjan.

Sr.Bincy Jose Valiplackal, has entered in her Silver Jubilee year on 23rd May 2023. The community prayed for her as Fr.Caesar SJ, offered Holy  Mass for her needs. We pray this Jubilee Year May bring lots of Graces in her life to live a truly committed religious life in Gods Vineyard.

Walking together with the people of God

One with the people of God
Being aware of the Theme “Go I am sending you “ we the sisters have involved ourselves in many pastoral activities of the Parish. We have divine Mercy shrine so thousands of people come on first Friday of the month.  Thus, we are occupied in distributing communion, giving counselling to the people who request.  We also extend our service to the sick and homebound by distributing Holy communion and praying for them in their respective houses. We give catechism classes to the students who prepare themselves to receive First Holy communion and confirmation. On Sundays we visit the families. We  go along with the Priest to different villages for the Holy Eucharist.

We sisters render our service in the Parish school where she gets ample of opportunities to interact with the parents of the students. In the community we run Kindergarten for tiny tots coming from different economic background, religions and culture. We get chance to enrich ourselves with interculturality.  We promote values that are necessary to live a good family life. We have also a small group of CMS who are active and vibrant in rendering their service to the needy and poor.
