Ruby jubilee celebration of Sr. Philo Joseph
I thank God for 40 years he gave me for His service in the Church for the people dear to Him.
My vocation is as sacred as the days
passed and destiny brought me at the wide open door of Carmelite Missionaries.
I was going through various stages of formation which was a foundation for the
rest of my life of formation. My life was an open book to my superiors. I
walked in obedience and discovered that religious life is not what I want to do
but what I want to be as a self-offering to God. The formative period was tried,
hoisted and tested with many trials in such a way was not a waste.
All those moments passed
unnoticed quietly and quickly and Jesus accompanied being my only rock of
stronghold and prayer was the source of strength.
As I look back of the completion
of 40 years of religious life I greatly appreciate my vocation more than ever.
I am so happy that nothing can make me happier. I am deeply grateful to my
superiors, sisters in community for confidence repose in me and the
opportunities that they offered me to serve the Lord and at the service of the
Church.
